A for Aesthetics
The letter A has a special meaning for EENK. EENK, which last season completed its collection concept in alphabetical order, starting with B and ending with Z, is at a new starting point for S/S 2025. In the spirit of a fresh start, the brand immersed itself in its archives and identity to create the A for Aesthetics collection. Vintage, classics and tradition are at the heart of the collection, as they have been in the past as EENK has steadily built layer by layer.
In particular, the brand’s and designer’s roots in Korea, where the brand has been based since it’s first season, continue to be a focus. Intricate details inspired by Bojagi (traditional Korean wrapping cloth), knots, a patchwork of materials and colours which looks like sculptural are important elements and symbols that harmonise and unite past and present, different cultures and nature, the relaxed and romantic colour palette. This palette is in line with the work of artist Nina Koltchitskaia, who will collaborate on several prints this season.
Therefore, we pleated these colourful elements, knotted and sculpted one by one to create a look with finely crafted silhouettes that are the antithesis of what we’ve come to expect from the mass-produced. We hope that the A for Aesthetics collection is the beginning of a new journey that will take us deeper and deeper down this path.
